Lexplore: A Clear View of Reading

We present Lexplore, a tool for assessing reading ability based on eye tracking and predictive modeling. Lexplore combines the latest in both AI and eye tracking technology with the “human touch” of good teachers.  Our machine learning algorithms are able to recognise correlations and patterns in eye movement data, so they can quickly and objectively determine a child’s reading attainment. Some of these patterns might even elude most human beings or other computer programmes, therefore, their introduction into the classroom can help offer teachers an entirely different perspective when it comes to reading, as well providing the valuable information teachers need in minutes.

Lexplore

By combining the latest in artificial intelligence with over 25 years of academic research, Lexplore have developed an entirely new method of assessing reading. Their entirely computer-based assessment determines a child’s reading attainment in just a few minutes by measuring their individual eye movement patterns, which can offer an insight into how their brains process text. Their test is fully objective, supporting your professional opinions and highlighting children with specific reading difficulties, such as Dyslexia. Lexplore’s assessment and results portal are both fully web based, as well as paper and admin free, and therefore they also reduce teacher workload
